I need to do some remote programming on a ACD phone but i cannot do it beacuse it is unlocked. How can i lock the phone if i am programming remotely . Apart from somebody going to the phone and locking it.

You don't need to restart anything if you are concerned on 1 or 2 extensions only. You just move it to another free equ and move it back. If you don't have any free equ, you can initiate a dummy board and after use you can delete the board again. //patcher

With EMG it will not work. So you mean ksexc?

For ten years everybody warns to use ksexc. Have a look to the EMG. Even EMG does not use this dangerous Change-commands. Ericsson will know why not to use this commands.

And it depends on softwareversion. Patcher: Do you recommend this for all Softwareversion down to BC7? I think, for certain versions there were service-advices by Ericsson not to use this command because of data-corruptions.

In BC11 I have heard that KSEXC is safe .
I have used it for some sites and no problems.

KSEXC is okay from BC10 onward but will not recommend on older BC releases. //patcher

KSEXC will work on older revisions of software fairly safely so long as the port is manually blocked (BLEQI:EQU=XXX-X-XX-XX)
