I have a phantom TN (500) with the following info. The 4303 is the direct group number to the ACD. Instead of it going to 4303 I want the number to go to a new menu. So I set up the menu in Call Pilot on the SDN page. I think I need to change the below to our VM number instead of the ACD number. Would it be FTR DCFW 4 4300 (vm)? or FTR DCFW 4 4140 (main #) Is that correct? Thank You,

to send it to the menu, the fdn would be you cp answer dn.. the same number you fdn/hunt phones to for voice mail. then add the dn to your vsdn table in cp

instead of an analog, out that then go to ld 23

new
ACD

xxxx
maxp 1
ncfw xxxx, (the answer dn for cp)

that free's up the lic, tn port etc.. just ignore the rest of the prompts.. as long as the dialed digits are defined as a service dn, the menu will answer

The acryonym is FTR, not FDN. I did not see an FDN on the TN. Is FTR & FDN the same on a 500 phanthom number.

Think john's FDN is 'Forward DN' this is set up via the FTR DCFW.
so changing:
FTR DCFW 4 4300
will do.

i still perfer

cust 0
acdn 4140
maxp 1
ncfw 4303

the only time i might use a phantom is with rcfw, so the end user can control the fdn.. we do use that for some on call pagers.. call comes off of a menu, ie to page the oncall press 1, that hits a phantom analog that is forwarded do a unique pager number each week
