I have set up a VM box (8001) for a caller to leave a message while they are in the queue if they would rather do that than to wait. Ideally, I want them to press 1 to get transferred to the VM box. I know how to do this on a regular voicemail subscriber line and even for a transactional box.

How is this done for an ACD pilot number?? Help me connect the dots here, please!

NEC SV8500 with internal MAT, VM is Univerge UM4730.
 
In order to be able to dial out of a CCV, you need an IVR system. Something like a QueWorX that monitors for digits dialed. Your other option would be to keep the caller in queue for x amount of time, then tranfer them to a virtual extension (8001) CF all to the VM where they can leave a message.
