ACD documentation from Nortel

Hello, Gurus:
I'm sure we all heard here or there different things about how to make changes to an ACD set. Some say you need to out and rebuild the phone, some say you only need to disable the set. I'm wondering if there is a Nortel documentation that defines the procedure of changing an ACD set. Or it's just old sayings handed down by generations.

To my knowledge, the only Nortel "public" advisement is this:
However, there have been internal documents that mention CHG as the cause of corruption.

I'd say most people do perform CHG on occasion, but most of them don't suggest that others do it.

I do CHG all the time.
