hey all have an acd with 11 agents need to add a new one so i copied from a tn and added every thing looks good except the agent cant log in here is what i have:DES W

Now I would like to change the key 0 to acd 7710 0 5720 agn as this is not a spv position but i cant seem to do it is that what is not allowing log in. when i try to build new in ld 23 i cant get passed pos? Thanks for all input
 
A headset is connected when you try to login ?

No It is not I just can get the login id to work.
 
You need a headset attached to the phone to log in

Really why cant he just have handset off hook and is that why he cant log in!
 
I just check there are others in the group I just cant ;log in where is the pass code defined thanks
 
Basics of logging in:

Using just the handset, put it to your ear, then press the 0 key, you should hear stuttered dial tone. When you hear this, enter the code and press #. The phone should go into not ready. To start receiving calls, take it out of not ready.

Things to consider:
1. This is programmed as a 2216, make sure you are using a 2216. If you use a 2616 phone, users have the habit of not picking up the handset which will not allow you to log in, or laying it back on the cradle once logged in, which will log it out.
2. Make sure the phone is not already logged in by pressing the make busy key once to log out (arrow beside the key), then a second time (no arrow beside the key) to allow you to log back in.

If you are trying to use Symposium/Call Center, the agent needs to be set up with a profile there and you need to use the password set up there, or symposium will not monitor correctly. Each password belongs to the individual and only one person can use each password to log in. Trying to use a password a second time will not allow that person to log in. Symposium display will tell you if that agent is already logged in.
