How can I get an accurate report of memory use in Windows?
Windows' task manager has a column for 'Mem Usage', but if I add up all of those numbers it is not even close to the reported 'PF Usage' in the 'performance' tab (Which I have always referenced as actual total memory use).
I tried enabling the 'VM Size' tab and It looks more realistic, but I know that it is still inaccurate. As an example my 'Virtual Box' virtual machine software is reported as having a 'VM Size' of only 69.7MB even though the virtual machine inside is assigned 256MB of RAM.
So how do I get some accurate memory usage information?
My memory is not as good as it should be, and neither is my memory.
I have forgotten more than I can remember
