i want to perform an accurate port count for both used and unused analog and digital sets-

when counting 3000 sets I list in LD 81 sets:

FEAT SETS
FEAT CUST TOTAL SL1 500 2500 3000 2000 3900 ISET DCS

SETS 00 CNT 412 0 0 55 0 0 342 15 0

3000 sets at 342

then in LD 20 LUVU and count the number of TN's listed and get 21. Adding the 21 to 342 I get 363. But that number is not clearly divisible by 16 (number of ports to a digital card right?)

Please advise,
-bb1.

LD 81 won't show you digital TNs that for a console.
In LD 20 do an LTN for TYPE 2250, PWR and also OOSMLT.
That may find the missing TNs.

here's another place i look, not a count but a good inventory just the same//. ld 117, inv generate, then when it completes (you don't need to stay in the load) inv prt all.. that will idu/idc everything built in the switch.. it will not find unprogramed sets.. ld 20 prt oosmlt, oosmlt, pwr 2250..

one thing i like about the 117 command (inv sets midnight) will keep a fresh idu is that it locates sets that are programed and not plugged in.. another command that is often over looked.. ld 97 prt xpe, then ld 32 idcs xx each xpe.. that shows cards in each shelf
