I'm thinking about buying a printer to print some "reviewer draft" manuscripts on 6x9 paper, which I would then have glue-bound. I'm looking for technical documentation or other references for HP printers that would confirm that I can print 2 sided on 6"x9" paper, and that the printing would be accurately lined up from one side to the next (i.e. actual printed margins would be exactly the same.)

Any pointers to information that would help me figure out whether this would work would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I don't believe that ANY of the HP printers will provide absolutely spot-on registration.

Via the HP web site ( ), search for document 'bpl01514', which gives 'acceptable skew', etc. tolerances for most LaserJet models.

With some of these, the margin tolerances seem quite large (e.g. 5mm +- 1.5mm).

DansDadUK: Thanks for the input. That's a useful link.

Any other inputs on accuracy for 2-sided printing, in particular, anyone?

I found the information I was looking for...so this one is "resolved". Thanks!
