Can anyone help me to get accsess to a Voice 100 voicemail system usin dialed up modem. There was a sequence of pushing buttons onto the connection to get accsess into the setup etc.
Use your Winfiol or other terminal program, and set it up to 9600 b/s, 7 bits, EVEN and one stopbit.
The modem should be capable of the the bell mode facility.
To dial-up to a Voice 100, use the sequense:
ATDT xxxxxx,,,,###5.
The x'es is the number to dial.
The 4 commas (,) make a small pause before the ###5 is sent.
The ###5 starts up the modem in the Voice 100.
You can dial in to any Voice 100/200/300 and press ###5 to start up the modem.
Let me know if you have any problems...!

Yes, thanks, a step further, but when modem in the Voice 100 answers, it will not connect, there is a long handshake sequence, ending up with nothing...
Ia am using Reflection as com sw on my laptop, and an internal modem in my HP nc8430. Maybee there is some at commands to set on my internal modem??
If your modem can not support Bell mode, then you can have some problems with connecting to the Voice 100 (VMX).
Try to cal the Voice 100 from a phone and dial ###5, when it answers. Can you hear a modem tone?
Do it sound like a modem (or fax) tone without "noise"?
I am using WinFiol and a LASAT 336 Voice or LASAT STM24 modems, without any problems.
Hyperterminal or Tera Term (free ware) terminal programs can als be used to connect to the Voice 100.
Can you connect to the Voice 100 by using the serial port (TERM1) on the Voice 100 box?
