ACCS agent desktop fails

Am installing agent desktop on various agent desktop. Installation of agent desktop was successfully installed and authenticated with CCMA CTI but on other laptops the agent desktop failed to authenticate with ACCS server. It gave a User domain name failed as error though the domain name of the users are correctly configured for all.
What could possibly be the cause of the authentication error.

If using domain for authentication you need Agent in CCMA to be setup as pre-2000 login name. ie contoso\bob.smith
For that to work, ACCS and Bob need to be members of the domain
