Accpac v6.5 - Item Supplier Cost Change

I am a new ACCPAC user and responsible for the ITEM master and purchasing. I do not understand how to update pricing when a vendor changes a price so that future PO's are created at the NEW price. Currently I cannot change the price field in a supplier record once the record has any history. Any ideas?

ACCPAC PRO 6.5
It is done by design. You must manually create a purchase order and receive it.

if you have access to Visual Fox Pro
open the table icsuplxx and correct the lstcost field for that particular item-vendor.
