ACCPAC Upgrade 5.4 to 5.5 needs database upgrade

Hi,

I m planning to upgrade ACCPAC V5.4 to 5.5, using SQL Server 2005 database. Do we need to upgrade our database also, as my ACCPAC Business Partner is saying it is going to take around 2 days for this upgrade.

I think he means convert the data from 5.4 to 5.5 - a separate process to installing 5.5
Yes you need to upgrade the data from 5.4 to 5.5 as well, this is done by activating each 5.5 module in each company.
