Hello,

Trying to learn more about setting up finanical statements. Is there a good online reference source other then the Sage Accpac Finanical Reporter quick reference? I need to see examples and setups.

Also, is there anywhere I can get general accpac training/tutorials free? I can't afford the course prices I'm seeing online.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Jon

No, the quick reference is all there is. And there's no free training. For examples, see the samples in the GL55A\ENG folder.

Tuba2007,

I've gone over the examples in the GL55a an they're small statements.

I'm new with the FR in accpac so there's certain formulas I just can't do. For instance, I want to have an expense lines with specific accounts. So, let's say I want expense acct number 5050 and 5110. I can't add these two together. I can't use range, how do I do this? Accounts are all grouped as 09 for expenses, so can't use a group total...? Help.

Check the FR User Guide, there is a tutorial that takes you through creating a report.

To get account 5050 and 5110 on the same line:
In column A: ="5050:5050,5110:5110"
In column D: T

That gives you one line with those 2 accounts added together.
