ACCPAC shortcut just disappears

There is this strange behaviour i get on most of the client machines, it even happened on our server. The ACCPAC shortcut just disappears and when i go to
Start->Programs->ACCPAC i only find the following shortcuts
online documentation,tools,database setup,sage desktop,setup wizard and web deployment manager. Normally ACCPAC shortcut would be included among them,what could be causing this?even if i repair the setup, the ACCPAC shortcut is not restored.
