accpac printing

I am connecting to ACCPAC on a remote server. I am not able to print locally on my computer. My computer is directly connected to the printer via parallel port. I am however able to print all other documents such as word, excel...
When i go to page setup in accpac it is not able to locate a printer. It says that i need to install the printer even though i have several printers in my printers folder. I am running windows 2000. Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

when you say "remote", what exactly do you mean?

do you use microsoft client or some session software ie. citrix.
