ACCPAC PLUS v6.1 to ACCPAC v5.4

Hello,

I am trying to convert ACCPAC PLUS dos data to ACCPAC v5.4 for windows. I am done with the GL module. When i convert the AR and AP dos data but it shown below error:

Error description: Internal DynaView DLL error. Could not initialize the semaphore table or get exclusive access to the database.

Any can help to rectify this problem will be highly appreciated.

Make sure you have full read/write access to all the Plus data.

Also copy the DynaView files from the 5.4 install folder to the Plus folder.

what is the dynaview folder name?

Under the Accpac 5.4 program folder: \ASP\Datadict. You need to copy the files to the Plus DV folder - I can't remember the folder name but I'm sure you'll figure it out.

I still cannot find the DV folder from the PLUS folder. Is it possible that i missed to copy the folder? Or the Dynaview may be installed out of PLUS folder? Thanks

This is not easy.

Get a Sage 300 consultant to convert it, but you will have to get an old timer because you are working with real old software. You're about 16 years behind the times. Your other option is just to export AP/AR master files and transactions and then import into Sage 300.

I only can export the AR/AP master files. Can it export AR/AP transactions?

Get a Sage 300 consultant to do the conversion for you, this is where they earn their money and they are worth it.
