1. Which virus checker? In any case, disable checking of the Accpac Programs folder.

2. Install the native client.

3. Network config: NIC and switch speeds?

2GB on a Windows 2003 server is minimal nowadays, we normally recommend at least 4GB, especially when running SQL server as well.

Do i need to install the native client in the client PC?
Does it make better performance?

SQL native client is installed on the client PC (but not on Vista because it is already installed). Yes it gives better performance.

Thanks you very much guys let me installed the native client and check it, More over Is there anythingelse? to make a better performance

Related to performance: Are the screens slow to load but once opened the data is retrieved at a resonable speed? If that's the case you need to follow the advice above and get your anti-virus software to leave Accpac alone. Each Accpac screen is an ActiveX control and ActiveX controls are often scrutinized by anti-virus software very carefully causing long delays in opening the screens.

And then answer the rest of the questions. :)

Yes,Kaspersky virus check

2. Install the native client.
No

3. Network config: NIC and switch speeds?
24.0MBPS

Workstation specs?
2GB Machine Windows XP.

for DjangMan (Programmer) question:

Yes indeed, Accpac Screen loads itself very slow and the data retreive speed also very low.

24 Mbps? That's your problem. Absolute minimum is 100. No wireless. 1000 is better.
