ACCPAC ON Windows 98

Hi,

I am using Accpac on windows 98,

and every time i try to post something i get this message:

1. Operating system limit reached. Invoice Detail. Out of the file handles.

2. Error occurred during posting. No error batch created.

Raise the number of handles in CONFIG.SYS to 250.

i increased to 250 files and still get the same message.

check your config.fpw file located at Accpac root directory and increase the allowed number of handled files.

In the future, please indicate which version of Accpac you're talking about:

Accpac Plus
Accpac Pro
Accpac ERP

They are all very different products.

hi,

my accpac Accpac for Windows 4.01.

i could not find the config.fpw to increase the files.

i have not be able to open the app04 table to edit, i use msaccess, pervasive and not luck don't recognize the file.

That's because there is no such file with Accpac for Windows, it's used in Accpac Pro.

If you can't find files to edit, then it's time you contacted someone with technical skills to look at your system.
