Thnks for reply

Recovery model? will you please tell me ? how to do that

LOL seriously???
SQL database properties, options, recovery model.

Thank you very indeed ettinne its already recovery model in simple only.
yes Seriously nothing wrong or shame in the world to know an unknown things.

If your recovery model is already Simple, then you need to right-click/Tasks/Shrink your database.

I done it as well. significantly 1 GB from 30 GB only reduced moreover

i ran query like

EXEC sp_detach_db @dbname = 'TRDAT';
EXEC sp_attach_single_file_db @dbname = 'TRDAT',
@physname = N'D:\SQLData\TRDAT.mdf';

but my question is cant we reduced the space more than 1 GB?

Okay. if i delete company and recreate the company and load the dump database
does it make any sense?

It won't shrink below 1 Gb because whoever created the database set a default size of 1 Gb. After you Dbump, delete the database completely from SQL Studio, recreate it with a small log, then Dbload.
