Hello everyone,

Does the ePOs 5.2A register store the name of the person that is currently logged on in the local Register.mdb or Data.mdb database? I need to include this info on my sales slips.

Liam

It's in Register.Mdb, TransRptTitle.

I just tested this field and that info does not change when a new user logs on. Any more ideas?

All I did was browse around the tables, I can only assume another one of them is updated. I know definitely that Data.Mdb doesn't get updated at the register.

I tried teh SumTill table as well but didn't have any luck there either. I find it strange that this info is not stored in the local databases.

Look at Register.sumTill
Not sure if you are going to have much luck with that, but it is the closest you will get.

I did look at it but the data does not change either when a user logs on and off. I guess that info is just not stored.

Back to the original question, you want a user name on the sales slip.
Normally I setup AR Salespersons with the same code as the ePOS user ID so that when a sale is made in ePOS the salesperson is set to the ePOS user by default, this is the way ePOS works.
So if your ePOS user ID = AR salesperson code then you can print the salesperson code (which is on the receipt slip by default) on the receipt slip, that should solve your problem.

That would solve the problem but unfortunately we work a little different. In my stores someone can put in a sale for another person, so the person who enters the sale is not necessarily the one who is selected as the salesperson.

The reason I really want to do this is to track errors at the time the receipt was entered. In case there was an error in the sale I want to know who actually entered it (who was actually logged on).
