Accpac Controls

Dabbling more and more and wondering what some of you pros think about using some of the Accpac controls instead of standard MS controls. Consdering things like the grid, period picker, etc ... also wondering if there's a combo box control?


Are there any advantages/disadvantages to using these controls?

I've been writing Accpac stuff for 20+ years, I never use the Accpac controls, except for the period picker when I need it. For the rest I use the MS controls. If you ask 10 programmers you will get 10 different answers....
The disadvantage of using the Accpac controls is that they add a level of complexity and their lack of documentation.
