Hi,

I'm encountering an issue where Accpac isn't recognizing an AR import file (the error message is "Table Invoices doesn't exist") when I create the file from scratch using Excel 2010 (but saved as 97-2003 format).

Here's my situation ... originally I created an AR export file from Accpac and manipulated it to create an AR import file which works. I can add multiple invoices manually to this import file (which is of 97-2003 format) and Accpac recognizes the file, however if I open Excel 2010, create a new spreadsheet, copy and paste the data from the AR import file that works, then save the file as 97-2003 format then it doesn't work. I've also tried creating a very basic AR import file from scratch (CNTBTCH=0, CNTITEM=0, IDINVC=1 for Invoices, CNTBTCH=0, CNTITEM=1, CNTLINE=0, AMTEXTN=100, IDACCTREV = X for Invoice_Details and the tabs are present with required headers for the remaining 3 tabs) and saved it in the right format but it still doesn't work.

Thoughts or experiences?

You are missing the named ranges in the Excel spreadsheet.

Export a file and then look at the named ranges as well as the worksheet names, your file must match that exactly.
