I don't think it's supported, but does it work?

Windows 2012 server hosting the SQL database and shared data no problem at all.

Windows 2012 server hosting the application with remote desktop?
I think you have to tweak it a bit by changing the security settings on the program and data folders to allow regular users to make changes.

You can try and figure out exactly which folders or files it's trying to write to or just give full access to everyone or the group of users that will access accpac.
Vanilla out of the box 2012 will not work properly until you have made those slight permissions changes.

I tested it out with installing fresh 2012 and fresh ERP 300 2012 (Accpac 6.1) into a new virtual machine and had problems getting UI to work until adjustments were made to the security on the program folder. I didn't dig into it too much as I was trying to test if an add on product was compatible so once I had problems with the operating system I decided to start again with a supported OS and reinstalled with 2008r2 server instead. Wasn't a smart plan to go testing if the OS worked when I really wanted to know if this third party add on would work with the latest 6.1 release.

@QB that applies to all versions of Windows, it's not specific to 2012.
Basic stuff: do not install to the default program folder (c:\program files\yada yada). Users need read only permissions to the Accpac folder and read write permissions to the Shared Data folder (Company, Site, User).
