I have a problem with ACCPAC 6.5, system date is showing as one day greater than the actual date. My admin account has rights to change system date (_SYSEDT), but on the file menu the "Change System Date" option is grayed out.
Does anyone have any input on this for me?

Which version/flavor of ACCPAC? ACCPAC Plus has a 6.5 as do ACCPAC Pro (I think) but Advantage is only releasing 5.3 now.

accpac pro 6.5
Make sure the user gets out of the program completely before login back in.
Make sure all workstation ( including their PC's time) have the correct time.
Some network workstations are designed to obatain time from the server, so make sure the server's time is also correct.

It is ACCPAC Pro series V 6.5. The first thing I did as a matter of fact was make sure all Workstations had the same (correct) date and time. Even though my workstations are scripted to sync time/date with the domain controller, which in turn gets a daily time update from NIST. But it wasn't that.
The actual system date was somehow changed, and the file menu option to access it to change it back was grayed out. I now know that no user could have changed it because the consulting firm that did all of our mods, removed that functionality. I had to get them on the horn to fix it. Not being a FoxPro guru, It took me considerable time to try to resolve the issue without costing the company any money.
Turns out it must have been some kind of glitch in the code that did it. I'm still involved in forensics now, but from checking the logs, I can easily determine that no user, went in and changed it. Nor could they have due to the disabling of the "Change System Date" feature. Good thing the Consultant knew right away what code to tweak to return it to a working state, or he'd have had a battle on his hands trying to get paid. (seeing as we never asked him to remove that functionality in the first place)

Too late to say “long story short” but thank you all for your input.
