Accpac 5.6 Delete Account Segment (Not used in Structure)

Hi, I have been using a 4 segment account code with segment 4 defined as 2 chars, but I needed to increase it to 4 chars
I:
1) Defined a new Seg 5 (4 chars) [GL Options]
2) Created new Seg 5 codes [Seg Code Maintenance]
3) Created a new structure which used seg1 + seg2 + seg3 + seg5 [Account Structure Maintenance]
4) Used Account Change to convert all previous account codes to the new structure
5) Deleted all existing Seg 4 codes - now redundant
6) Deleted the previous Account Structure Code so now there are no Accounts, Structure Codes or Seg 4 values in existence
7) Redefined Seg 4 = 4 Chars [GL Options]
8) Created new Seg 4 codes same as the new Seg 5 Codes
9) Recreated the structure which used Seg1 + Seg2 + Seg3 + Seg4 (now modified to 4 chars)
10) Used Account Change to convert the codes back to the Seg1 + Seg2 + Seg3 + Seg4 structure
11) Deleted the Seg 5 codes
12) Deleted the seg1 + seg2 + seg3 + seg5 Structure

At this point ... I want to get rid of the Seg5 I created in the [GL Options]
According to the Help Documentation you can:
"Delete a segment, providing it is not assigned to an account number structure."

So ... I cannot figure out how to delete the now redundant Segment 5, which has no codes defined and is not a part of any structure.
[GL Options] will not let me delete the description or change the field size to Zero without causing an error.
Pressing the delete key does nothing.

According to the documentation I should be able to do it .... but I cant find anything that actually tells you how ?

Can anyone help me.

You could have used GL account code changer and increased the size of segment 4 in 1 easy step.
The only way I could delete a segment is by editing the GLABK table.
