Accpac 5.5A is very slow on a workstation

l would like to know why Accpac is running slow on a workstation setup which is also in the same building with where the server is.The server is Microsoft server 2008 and the LAN speed is 1GB.All the latest service packs have been installed and we also running Microsoft SQL 2005 with service pack 3.

If anyone could help please.

Thanks will try deactivating the Antivurus for sometime and see what happens
