I'm running ACCPAC 5.4 ERP100 on a WIndows 2000 Server with 3 WIndows XP Workstations. We are using Pervasive.SQL 9.5 Client/Server and Crystal Reports Version 11.

My problem is I can't print at the Server. I can't even do a Print Preview. I see a screen with "Business Objects" in the upper right corner, but no print or display.

I have no problem at the 3 Workstations. Printing & Print Preview works great.

On the Server I have both the programs and the Data on a Shared Folder called W:
On the WOrkstations, I've installed ACCPAC allowing the programs to install in their default C:\PROGRAM FILES\SAGE SOFTWARE\SAGE ACCPAC.

Could my problem the location on the Server where ACCPAC is installed (mapped drive W:)?

Please advise.

Didn't change anything. I ran WSSETup on the Server & I still can't print, or Print Preview at the Server.

You must be using RDC. Copy C:\Windows\Crystal\*.* to C:\Windows\System32.

I did as you suggested & nothing has changed. I'm at the WIndows 2000 server, not connected using RDC.

More Clues:

When I run a report from a workstation, it successfully displays & I my Database name & the report name across the top of the screen ie. G/L Trial Balance Report [Preview.. etc]. Running the same report on my server, I see only the word Report. Nothing else.

When I print G/L Source Codes Report at the Server, I get an error message:
"Error encountered when accessing Crystal Enterprise. The system CBLFS can be contacted, but there is no Central Management Server running at port 6400"

CBLFS is the name of my Server.

Thank you for your patience. Hope you can point me in the right direction.

That's a very strange error, it's not supposed to be looking for Crystal Enterprise. You're not running the Web Deployed Accpac, are you?

No. In fact I've since uninstalled everything from my Server, rebooted & installed from scratch allowing programs to install in their default C:\PROGRAM FILES\SAGE SOFTWARE\SAGE ACCPAC. Same problem.

The is a problem in the Crystal XI print engine, you can install the fix available from Crystal, or set your colors in the RDP client (note on the client side, not the server) to as high as possible. Open Remote Desktop Connection on the client, click Options, Display, set Colors to anything greater than 256.
