Accpac 5.1A Worstation and Crystal Reports / InSync

Hi All,

We have a user that has Accpac 5.1a Workstation client and a local install of Crystal Reports XI as we need it for another application (InSync - I think this is for our payroll).

When trying to use Accpac client and running a report we come up with the following error:

Description: Error in File \\abacus\AccPac5\ACCPAC\ar51A\ENG\arcbtclz.RPT: The table could not be found.

Source: 12:49:12

From what I've read it appears that it is having trouble because Accpac 5.1a uses a different version of Crystal? I'm not sure about that, but I would hope that the newer version of Crystal would be backwards compatible! At any rate...

I'm wondering if anyone else has come across this issue and if they have a fix?

There's no fix, no backwards compatibility, you need Crystal 8.5.

Ouch - that sux...

Ok, well, at least I have the user working around the problem by going through the terminal server. Was just hoping that there might have been a way around this.
