Accpac 4.2 with Vista 1

Has anyone had any experience with Accpac 4.2 running on Vista? I tried setting it up with Pervasive 2000i on a new Vista Business machine and so far it is a bust when trying to use a workstation install. I'm not sure if 4.2 is the issue or Pervasive is the issue. When it tries to start it gives a "you do not have a license to use this product" message, which in the past has pointed to a datapath or Pervasive problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you know the earliest version of Accpac that is compatible? Also, is it just a matter of the pervasive sql or does it go deeper than that?

It's mostly Pervasive. 5.4 (the current one) is the only one fully compatible.

I don't know what the rush to Vista is, it's just eye-candy without any technical improvements. Heck, the other week I reformatted a new Vista machine and installed Windows 2000. It runs great on that new hardware!
