Accounting for Weekdays to determine Date Calculations

Hi,

I am fortunate to come across this site. Perhaps, finally, I may be able to find an answer to this dilemma that I am facing.

Here's what I am confronting.

I have two date fields and I am attempting to calculate the days elapsed between these two dates excluding Weekends and Holidays.

It's fairly simple but I am bogged in the quagmire of how to apply the "Weekday" principle in order to arrive at the correct mathematical solution.
