wonder if anyone has seen this/ can help?

w2k domain and all machines w2k.
Citrix mf xp
ICA client.

Password policy states passwords must be changed every 30 days.

If a user happens to log in remotely and then try to connect to citrix when their password has expired and then they change the password, the account then gets locked out a short time afterwards. (lots of event id 675 in security logs.)

obviously to log into their machine they type their old password until they get back into office so their machine can access the domain controllers, is this somehow conflicting/upsetting the citrix connection and causing lockouts?

users connect to citrix via the internet (dial up isp) then through firewall.

any help really appreciated as has happened to 3 users today already.

Cheers.

This may help.

Open "Citrix Connection Configuration". Double-click the ica-tcp protocol. Click on "Advanced". In the top-right section of the dialog box ("AutoLogon"), there is a check-box for "prompt for password". Check it.
