Account for Sub Report Growth

I have a report that has eight sub reports on it. It's main purpose is a sort of legend for initials by department. Unfortunately the way I have it configured is that the second row of sub reports starts at the end of the longest first column(subreport). I have them set to grow. Basically one subreport column could take up the whole page (landscaped). I want to put that column(subreport) on the far side and line the other ones up below the shorter columns. Unfortunately for me, the second row of columns starts where that longest column ends, forcing a second page. How can I make the other subreports start below the shorter ones and keep it all on one page....??????

I'm not sure I caught your issue but I think you are saying you have several subreports you want to stack on each other at left and one subreport that can be bigger at right and make everything look nice.... Even if not think about the equivalent based on the below steps on that premise.

Set the can grow and can shrink properties of all your sub reports and the Can Shrink property of the main reports section housing the subreports.

Arrange the subreports at left so they do not overlap and are as short as possible. Because they grow they will push each other down as necessary. Making them short minimizes the whitespace.

Make the subreport at right tall enough to span the space that the subreports at left take up. This just means that you expect the report at right to take up less space in aggregate and the other reports will not start after it.
