uh, oh... after making a modification to the PO item Detail Entry screen, we realized we needed to undo our change... well, whatever we did, now we can't get into the screen at all... even as sa... and it's not listed in Modifier as a modified form. When we go into Transactions > Purchasing > Purchase Order Entry, nothing happens..

If we go into security, we don't see it as a modified window.

How can we get back to the normal, unmodified form?

Reset the security by removing access to the form entirely and then adding it back.

You can also run the verify function from Advanced Security.

Thanks, Dave... Verify in Advanced Security saved us... other issues we needed to consider:

Could've just deleted forms.dic

Also, needed to delete Dynamics.vba...

Deleting the forms.dic and the Dynamics.vba would lose all modified forms and all VBA for forms and reports.... and still would not fix the security records.

If using v8.0 of Advanced Security you can turn on the "Allow Security override using the system password" option. This will then pop-up a dialog like the verify feature whenever a security error is detected and allow you to fix it "on-the-fly" using the system password.

In v7.x this dialog was on by default once Advanced Security had been initialised.
