I'm REALLY embarrassed [blush], but I accidentally deleted the big blue "E" from my desktop. Every night I right click on it, click properties then delete the temporary internet files but last night I right clicked, then hit delete. It's not even in my recycle bin. All I can do is create a shortcut to IE, but I would like to restore the original because of the options. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Do a repair of Internet Explorer in Add/Remove programs. I've done the same thing myself.

Control Panel>>Add/Remove Programs>>select Microsoft Internet Explorer>>Check the Repair option.

Thanks for the reply, Jim. I have XP Pro. I can't find a repair option. Any other thoughts?

goto windows update it will check your system and notice IE isnt there and you will have the option to add it.

Right click on an empty area of your desktop, Properties, Desktop tab, Customize Desktop button, select the checkbox for Internet Explorer and OK all the way out.
