I go into a catalog. Go into tables. The list of Database tables on the left does not include any of the views from the database. I believe they should just be there - when i start a new catalog from scratch, there they are, but in this catalog that we've had for a while, i created a new view and it's not in the list of available tables and neither are any of the other views. Any ideas on how to force them to be there??

Do you have permissions to see those views?
That's a common problem many times. As long as you have permissions to the views, you should see them.

Yes! that other thread was the solution - thank you so much for pointing it out to me! That totally worked and i don't think i would have ever figured that out myself! I am so happy. :)

Glad I could help
