Can I access and run commands on my W2K server over the LAN? I'd like to connect from a W2K client PC to run admin tasks. Is it possible? If so how??

Thanks! Ó¿Õ¬

On the Windows 2000 Server CD, there is a install called ADMINPAK.MSI...its in the I386 dir.

You can load this on your 2K workstation and adminstrate the servers remotely.

If you're looking to perform admin functions remotely, the post from Jpoandl will work fine. If you're looking to run commands (programs?) on your server remotely, install Terminal Services in admin mode.
