Accessing the currently selected document in a view

How do I do this? I want to be able to press a button on a view which takes certain actions on the currently selected document. How do I do this?

Surely this is something simple, but the only thing I can find that says anything about it is the NotesUiWorkspace.CurrentDocument command, which specifically states that it CANNOT be used to access the currently slected document in a view!

You need to use the NotesUIDatabase object.
