Accessing .text property of an msoControlEdit (JERBY)

in the onaction function i want to save the menubar editable field everytime its edited so that when the application is restarted it shows the right text value.

i figured i'd store it in a table or form but i need to access that property of the control to do so.

any suggestions? thanks.

I had some trouble with this - got it to work after I added a reference to the MS VBA extensibility library. Then the .text property is available.
