Hi all,

We have a home user who accesses her mail box and a few various others via rpc over http in Outlook 2003. Recently she has had to access a couple of shared mailboxes which are located on a different server to the one that she connects to, to receive her emails.

She is able to access her mailbox and a couple of other shared mailboxes on the same server (mobile1.domain.com) but needs to access a mailbox on a different server (mobile2.domain.com).

The mailboxes have being shared and she has all the correct permissions but when she tries to access them she receives the following error:-

This error usually appears if the OST or PST file you are using is:

· Unavailable

· Protected with file permissions

· On a share on a server and the network is down

· Corrupt

To correct this problem, store the OST or PST file on the local computer.

You may also want to run the scanost.exe and scanpst.exe tools to verify file integrity.

What i want to know is, is it possible for her to access all the required mailboxes without using OWA.

I should note, we are using XP SP2 laptops, Outlook 2003 and Exchange 2003.

Apologies for the long post and thanks for any help offered.
