I want my users to be able to access shared and home folders via sharepoint, integrated with AD.

My users already have their home folders and shared, of course, but how can they be accessed through AD?

Thanks for any help

I do not think you can do that. Sharepoint uses document libraries stored within sharepoint itself and i do not think it is capable of accessing a shared folder. Thats not want sharepoint is designed to do.

What specifically do you mean by shared and home folders? Do you mean their local C: drive and network drives? Or something else. I know I've been able to access local drives, network drives, and document libraries in the system. I would think there would be some setting you could enable/disable to allow this. But also, I think that the whole purpose to access "real" drives from within SharePoint would primarily be to import those documents into document libraries.
