Accessing SAP BW Query with CRXI 1

Using: CR XI, SAP BW 3.5

Situation: Creating a formatted report using BW Query as datasource.

Problem: Some of the fields (not all) are empty when previewing the report, but when in Design mode and doing a Browse Data function on the field (string, 60)..the data is displayed. I have tried formulas for redefining (totext..etc) with no luck.
Any suggestions?

Browse field executes query of:

select distinct field from table (with a limit)

Preview executes the entire query

So the query is likely limiting the rows

Thanks for the response. It was the query, turns out the links in the query were not defined. Had to do with ODS and CUBE relations.
