If I have a VPN set up with my IPoffice. Can I access a pc running the "server" of quickbooks?

I currently cant, but not sure if there is a setting to make it work.

Technically, it should be possible to use Quickbooks over a VPN connection.

It is not, however, a good idea. Quickbooks uses a data model that requires very large portions of the data file to be copied over the network every time you perform an operation. This is not well suited to a VPN connection. There is a significant risk that you will corrupt the data file. At the very least, you should expect it to be extremely slow.

A better option would be to use remote desktop software over your VPN to control a computer on the remote network running Quickbooks. XP pro has RDP built in, VNC is a free remote desktop application ( pcAnywhere is a commercially available option.
