I have two PCs, one in the house and one in my garage and they are networked through a Belkin modem/router. I want to be able to look at my e-mails on both PCs but as soon as I load up one Outlook all my mails of course get downloaded to that PC. So I end up with some mails on one PC and some on the other.

How can I configure my PCs so that all e-mails sent and downloaded can be seen on both machines? I'm sure it must be possible ... just too dumb to work it out :-(

First, are we talking about Outlook or Outlook Express? - there is a difference. The method to get there will be somwhat different based on which you have, but in generel, you're looking for the mail account properties 'advanced' tab. Near the bottom, there is a 'leave messages on the server' check box. Set this on both machines. On the main/primary machine, also set the option to remove messages after x days. Then, just make sure that you use the secondary machine within those x days.
