Hi, I have had this partner phone system, setup in our motel for about 10 years now. In the last two or three months, the customers are accessing an outside operator, and charging long distance calls to the motel, all at a premium rate. I cant seem to pinpoint how they are making these calls. i have checked the call restrictions and 1call allowed lists. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

Do you currently have 1010 numbers restricted? I might also restrict 0 also...but that may be difficult.

Sign up with an alternate long distance carrier that will only allow collect, third party billing, or charge card calls when accessing 0. They will even share a percentage of revnue with you. Then only allow local, toll free, and 0+ dialing.

Try a call accounting software to see whats going on.
