I have a question about my browser in IE recently i can't get in to my internet options menu to change my home page from this stupid porn crap site that my kid brother some how got on my pc. I was wondering what i could do or where do i go to fix the problem of accessing the internet options menu(under tools) from my browser?

goddsmack:

That site might have placed a restriction in your registry.
Run Regedit and do a search for "NoBrowserOptions"
For any instances found change the D-word value to "0"

If the previoius suggestion does not resolve your issue then what OS are you using? Is the internet explorer applet still visible from the control panel? What message do you get when you try to get into Internet Options? joegz

Be thankful it didn't put an icon on the desktop and enable a dialer to install itself that automatically took you to the site (at 4.99 a minute)
I once removed such an instance on a work computer...and the user had so many icons he said he hadn't noticed the one of the girl with longhair...that led to a link like this one.
A friend's son got tricked into this trap and their phone bill went to hundreds of dollars before Dad started tracking it down.
Insidious is the word!
You also have some work to do on the Security tab of Internet Explorer options...and probably the Advanced tab too.

criminal is the word I would use. Unfortunately, this kind of theft is very difficult to prosecute.

Of course criminal...
Fortunately major phone carriers have stopped the collection connection of these sorts...and their connections are in other countries so they ARE hard to prosecute.
But you can/must stop most of the intrusions with correct settings/software.

Actually that's not necessary. Just delete the entire NoBrowserOptions entry in the right pane where it's found.

goddsmack, in case you don't know how to access the registry click start--run--type regedit--click ok. Then at the top click edit then find and search for a NoBrowserOptions entry and delete it then close regedit. You might have to restart after. You'll probably find it here:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Restrictions

goddsmack, this thread should help in getting rid of that p**n crap: click thread760-240207

Or run Ad-aware and see if it'll remove it:
