Accessing Meridian through Telnet ...

Yes you can. I use both Lantronix & Digi termservers to access tty, cdr, trf & acd ports. This is how Switchvies, also access the Meridian. I prefer this method as you don't need to get the data network guys to setup a VLAN or embedded LAN to access the Meridian ethernet port. Also much simpler to setup than all that rlogin stuff.
