I have a function that uses the File System Object to recurse through any given directory on the web box. That works great.

I want to use this same FSO to read a directory on another server that has been mapped on the web box as a shared server. After checking security and rights and permissions over and over, it still gives me nothing.

Is there anyone that could shed a little light on my problem, I am chasing my own tail!

sorry - you can't use FSO to access things from across the internet... the only way that you could use FSO would be to explicitly map the shared server as a network drive, then recurse through that mapped drive, but I'm not even sure if that will work.

sorry

Yes, we mapped the shared server as a network drive on the web box.

Shouldn't these virtual directories work with the FSO? They are enabled already to be viewed in the browser...

Has anyone done something similiar? Catch the vigorous horse of your mind!
