In thread thread619-1154992 the problem being discussed was exactly what I was facing, and the solution worked just as advertised.
Question-- short of turning off the software firewall on the linux box running FC3 (using the /etc/init.d/iptables stop command), is there any other solution? The config options to control what services are permitted through the firewall do not have any obvious options for allowing the SMB service connections through.
Any advice will be much appreciated.
