Good day... I hope someone can assist me in resolving my problem in executing a function within Excel's Analysis Toolpak for VBA Add-In in my Access database (2000 using ADO). I've followed some examples from the net, but I end up with the following problem/error: Cannot find DEC2BIN macro.

So, if anyone has any idea on this, please let me know. Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.

Thanks for the input Skip; however, I cannot seem to reference the file APTVBAEN - and when I Browse to the file, it returns an error that it cannot reference the file. (It might be due to the Administrative access to my pc - which I donot have???)

Also, the call is from a module within Access that needs to utilize the DEC2BIN function. I do not need to open an Excel file to use the function... do I? From the examples/help I've seen, using the Application.Run command should allow me accessibility to Excel's functions/macros!

I had thought about opening an Excel file and then running the function... but that defeats the purpose of VBA and the interopperability of Office! At this point, I'm leaning toward another alternative - rewrite the function in my database that will do the same calculations!!! Something I'm willing to do; but reluctant to implement.

Thank you again for your input and help. I will continue to look for a success with my initial plans in using Excel's Add-In functions. I will update this thread as resolutions/ideas come to.

Thanks.

I will consider my options. I'm that much closer to using Excel's functions...
