Accessing Database

When trying to previewing a report it says at the bottom of the screen "Accessing Database".

When it says this, what is actually happening. I've created a report using CRXI getting data from a SQL db and it takes ages to start reading the records and I'm not sure why.

There are so many posiblities as to why your report takes a long time to run. If you could post your report scheme and selection criteria, we mayu be able to help you. As for the accessing DB, it is accessing the DB. In Crystal, go to the Help section and Type "Multi-pass reporting flow chart". This may also help you figure out where the bottle-neck is in your report.
